Provision of specialized laboratory services for the seafood trade, shellfish, crustaceans canning industry, processing plants, frozen fish and caephalopods processing plants including private companies, public institutions, aquaculture communities, producer's associations etc. Professional monitorization of treatment systems for fresh and/or saltwater disinfection, animal health and welfareraw materials required in the production process and final products. Service includes regular visits by qualified technicians, sample collection and physical/chemical/microbiological analyses. Detailed laboratory reports include technical advice, specific guidelines for reliable production management, processes design and risk control, identifying customer-tailored, effective corrective actions.

Technical profile:

Water Physical/Chemical analyses: Temperature, Dissolved oxygen, Salinity, pH, Conductivity, Free Chlorine, Total Chlorine, Total Ammonia, Phosphates, Copper, Nitrites, Nitrates etc.

Water Microbiological analyses: Total coliforms, Faecal coliforms, Escherichia coli,Salmonella spp., Listeria monocytogenes etc.

Shellfish and crustaceans microbiology: Mesophillic aerobes, Faecal coliforms, Escherichia coliSalmonella spp., , Clostridium sulfite reducers, etc.

Bacteriological analysis of frozen or heat-treated products: Faecal coliforms, Escherichia coliSalmonella spp., Identification and counting of Listeria monocytogenes, Enterobacteria,Staphylococcus aureus; Mesophillic aerobes, Staphylococcus aureus, etc.
