New line of diets for sole


Building on the latest developments on the nutritional requirements for Solea spp., our Nutrition Division introduces Acuisol®, a new nutritional range for the feeding of sole.

The formulae for these new technical diets takes into account the singular ability for vegetable protein digestion recently described for these species. Containing a large proportion of locally grown ingredients, the new line Acuisol® has high levels of crude protein (54% in dry matter) and low levels of fat (8% in dry matter). This proximate composition, in combination with natural attractants and texturizers especially developed for this application, enhances food ingestion and results in optimum growth levels even in suboptimal rearing conditions.

The Acuisol® line also includes two innovative ingredients which make these diets truly unique in comparison with similar products already present in the market. The inclusion of microalgae enhances natural pigmentation and reinforces the immunocompetence of the cultivar, making the fish less prone to disease and nutritional deficiencies.

Acuisol® also incorporates active water quality enhancers, capable of sequestering toxins and improving the farming environment even under very intensive conditions, particularly relevant during the nursery and on-growing phases.
